CAGE NUTS
Cage Nuts are mostly used on electronic devices, such as on server racks. Cage Nut is a combination of a square nut placed in a steel cage around it.
The two spring sides, which act like wings, can be compressed when inserting and released when extracting.
Cage Nuts are mostly inserted on the square holes of the server racks.
To install the Cage Nut, one must have a slot screwdriver or similar tool to compress the wings on the side.
Cage Nuts are mostly made with zinc coating to prevent it from corrosion. Sometimes different materials such as brass or stainless steel are utilized to make Cage Nuts.
