DOME CAP NUTS
Dome Cap Nuts are nuts with a dome like finish on a regular Hex Nut. The Dome Cap Nut is used in all sorts of applications.
Mainly one can see Dome Cap Nuts in automobiles, furniture, and electronics.
The main purpose of a Dome Cap Nut is to cap off the protruding end of a bolt or screw.
This will decrease the chance of a person accidently injured when bumped into the Dome Cap Nut.
Most Dome Cap Nuts are made with carbon steel and with a zinc coating finish.
However, depending on the requirement, some would choose different materials such as stainless steel, brass, or titanium.
