External Tooth Lock Washers are washers with tooth like features in the outer diameter of the washer.
External Tooth Lock Washers are similar to a Flat Washer but with a purpose to create more grip force to the fastener itself.
The External Tooth Lock Washers are usually used to larger screws or bolts since it does not appeal as good if the washer is revealed.
External Tooth Lock Washers are mostly made with carbon steel and a zinc coating to resist corrosion. However, they are also made in stainless steel.
