WING NUTS
Wing Nuts are a unique kind in the nut family. The Wing Nut is created with two protruding metal like a pair of wings.
These wings will allow a person to fasten the Wing Nut in place without using a tool. Wing Nuts are seen on machineries or instruments.
The other purpose of the Wing Nut is to adjust the instrument in an easy and fast manner.
The obvious setback is that the Wing Nut cannot be fastened as tight with hands.
However, the place that it fastens are does not usually need as much force as its counterparts. The common finishing for the Wing Nut is zinc coating. They are also made in stainless steel, brass and plastic.
